A day after we celebrate the tenth anniversary of Apple iPhone, we have a full 360-degree view of what could be the latest ‘anniversary edition’ iPhone 8. A series of images as well a hands-on video of the dummy unit shared by TigerMobiles.com shows us how the glass finish would look.

The dummy which shown in the video shared is said to be manufactured via CNC process, a highly automated process commonly used for manufacturing mechanical parts. TigerMobile and Onleaks claim to have based the design on 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) sourced “directly from the factory in-charge of building the new iPhone.” The unboxing video goes on to reveal precise dimensions of the phone, as well as an idea about how big the rear camera bump could be.

Renders based on CAD images were earlier revealed by Engadget, however, they did not reveal any of the original CAD figures. iDropNews had then revealed alleged CAD images, stating their dimensions. The video uploaded by TigerMobiles and Onleaks reveal dimensions which are marginally thinner than what iDropNews had suggested.

The vertical placement of the dual-camera strip is the only major change that can be seen on the rear, dismissing rumours of a rear fingerprint scanner. The front does seem to point towards a bezel-less display with an embedded fingerprint scanner on the screen. Apart from this though, the phone comes across a very iPhone-like design, which looks premium but is nothing as exciting as we were expecting from a tenth-anniversary iPhone.

Hopefully, this is just an initial prototype.
